Quick answer
KnotChat is a Chatroulette alternative for people who prefer typing to webcams. Instead of random video, it matches you one-on-one with a stranger for anonymous text chat in seconds, with no camera and no signup. You can skip anytime, report abuse, and use it free in a browser or on Android.
Why people switch to KnotChat
No webcam required
Text-first means no camera, no mic, and no pressure about how you look or sound. Pure conversation.
Same roulette spontaneity
One tap matches you with the next random stranger. Skip as often as you want until a conversation clicks.
Safer by default
Without video there's no risk of unwanted explicit cam content — a problem Chatroulette became known for. Reporting is one tap.
